Nani set for Old Trafford exit

The Metro understands that Manchester United will look to sell Nani in the summer, despite the winger claiming that he does have a future at the club.

The Portugal international is currently on loan at Sporting, the club where he began his career, having fallen out of favour with the Red Devils, used as a makeweight in the deal that saw Marcus Rojo sign for Louis van Gaal’s side.

He has made seventeen appearances in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals, while he played just thirteen times for United last year under David Moyes.

In seven seasons at Old Trafford, the 28 year old won a host of major honours, including four Premier League titles, the League Cup and the Champions League.

He has racked up two hundred and twenty-eight appearances for the club, scoring forty times while internationally he has scored fifteen goals in eighty-three matches for his country.
