Nani undergoes Lazio medical

Lazio are set to complete the deal for Valencia winger Nani, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 30-year-old was spotted at the Rome Ciampino airport this morning and he is set to undergo a medical before signing a contract at Stadio Olimpico.

Valencia reportedly had a €15 million proposal accepted last night, allowing the player to travel to Rome.

Los Che were looking to offload one of their highest earners and they did well to also receive a substantial transfer fee in the process.

The 30-year-old fared well in his debut La Liga campaign, scoring 5 goals in 25 appearances, but clearly did not impress the coaching staff.

Nani now gets the opportunity to test his skills in Italian Serie A, but he will not have an easy job in trying to nail down a regular starting berth at Stadio Olimpico.
