Ligue 1 outfit Nantes have agreed to sign Bafode Dansoko on a one-year deal, with the player officially joining the club next summer, according to L’Equipe.
The 19-year-old underwent a trial with the Canaries and he seems to have done enough to earn a professional contract.
Dansoko will join Nantes for training in January, but he will not be eligible for selection until next June.
The interesting thing is that the youngster has spent his early career playing futsal and he even made a number of appearances for France national team.
Dansoko is the second former futsal player to join a Ligue 1 side after Wissam Ben Yedder, who has proved to be a great signing for Toulouse and is now regarded one of France’s top strikers.
After ending a three-match losing run by defeating Bordeaux at the weekend, Nantes can be backed at 21/10 to continue the good run with a triumph over Lorient.
