Nantes starlet nears Marseille switch

Marseille are closing in on the signature of Nantes winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou Mbida, according to L’Equipe.

OM are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements given that Andre-Pierre Gignac and Andre Ayew are leaving, and the 20-year-old footballer could be the first to arrive at Stade Velodrome.

L’Equipe has learned that Marseille are on the verge of agreeing a transfer fee with Nantes, who are forced to sell due to the fact the player’s contract expires in June 2016.

N’Koudou can operate on either wing and he has shown a great deal of potential since coming through the youth ranks at Stade de la Beaujoire.

The youngster has so far amassed 34 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring 2 goals, and he clearly did enough to catch the eye of one of France’s top clubs.

N’Koudou has represented France at various youth levels and is currently a member of the Under 21 side.
