Fiorentina winger Mario Alberto Santana has confirmed that he has reached an agreement to join Napoli.
The Argentine midfielder had already announced that he would leave Artemio Franchi when his contract expires this summer and he has now revealed that the transfer to Napoli is a done deal.
“I’m delighted to be joining Napoli,” Santana told Il Mattino.
“There was initial contact in January, but then nothing came of it.
“I agreed to the move and I just can’t wait to start my new adventure in Azzurro. I’m already dreaming of the Champions League.”
The 29-year-old will be earning around €900,000 per campaign at Napoli, although the figure may rise depending on the bonuses.
