Serie A giants Napoli are weighing up January move for Tottenham forward Erik Lamela, Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed.
Following the unlucky Champions League exit, president Aurelio De Laurentiis is set to allocate significant funds for new signings, with the Azzurri expected to add three high-profile players to their ranks.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, they are planning an ambitious swoop for Tottenham starlet Erik Lamela, who has struggled to adapt to the new surrounding after a summer move from Rome.
While Spurs are obviously not prepared to cash in on the youngster, Napoli are hoping they would consider a six-month loan.
Meanwhile, the Azzurri are also keen on Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov, who continues to be linked with a return to Serie A.
And should they fail in their quest to lure the Serbian defender to Stadio San Paolo, Napoli will make a move on Genoa full-back Luca Antonelli.
