Napoli and Genoa keeping tabs on Michu

According to the Daily Mirror, a number of clubs are keen on signing Swansea City forward Michu in the January transfer window, despite him only joining the Swans in the summer.

This is down to the Spanish striker hitting the ground running in the English Premier League and helping the Welsh side into the top half of the table with ten goals.

Michu only enhanced his reputation as one of the buys of the summer last weekend when he scored a brace against Arsenal to give his side a 2-0 win.

Now though, Michael Laudrup may have a job on his hands to keep the goalscorer as he is reportedly being watched by Serie A giants Napoli and La Liga outfit Genoa.

He only arrived in the summer window for a bargain £2 million from Rayo Vallecano and it seems as though his performances are not going unnoticed.

Although Swansea would be able to cash-in on Michu and sell him for much more than when he arrived at the Liberty Stadium, they are sure to do all they can to keep him at the club as he is a key part in their ambitions for the campaign.

We shall see.
