Italian giants Napoli and Inter Milan are hot on the trail of Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer, according to Catalan newspaper Sport.
The Spanish footballer has so far failed to prove his worth at Camp Nou, and he has struggled for playing time under both Luis Enrique and Ernesto Valverde.
This means that Alcacer will probably be allowed to leave in the January window, and it would appear as though Italian Serie A is his most likely destination.
Namely, Napoli see the Spaniard as a good back-up to Dries Mertens, whereas Inter Milan want him to provide cover for Mauro Icardi.
It only remains to be seen whether the 24-year-old will be prepared to continue playing second fiddle after the bench role at Camp Nou.
