According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are interested in signing Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood, currently playing on loan for Getafe, but they’re likely to face serious competition from Juventus for the forward.
Greenwood’s career will obviously continue away from Old Trafford one way or the other. There is no place for him at United – that was agreed last summer, before his temporary move to Getafe came to fruition. His situation in that aspect remains unchanged, and United are believed to be keen to part ways with the 22-year-old permanently.
Several Premier League clubs have been credited with interest, as well as the likes of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in Spain, but it seems Italy is another option for his career to continue.
Napoli are bracing themselves for a summer in which they might lose Victor Osimhen, possibly Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as well, and attacking reinforcements are obviously needed at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. The same goes for Juventus, with Arsenal reportedly set to reignite their interest in Dusan Vlahovic.
