Italian daily Tuttosport understands that Napoli and Lazio are vying for the signature of Parma forward Jonathan Biabiany.
The French footballer is currently co-owned by Parma and Sampdoria, with one of the two clubs set to become the sole proprietor of the player’s rights after a blind auction on 20th June.
I Ducali are hoping to win the auction so that they could cash in on Biabiany in the summer transfer window, with both Napoli and Lazio keen.
The Frenchman, who came through the youth ranks at Inter, has been showing a lot of promise at Ennio Tardini, although he is yet to reach his full potential.
Biabiany has scored 2 goals and set up another 5 in 33 Serie A matches this season, having been mostly used as a winger.
The 25-year-old could now return to the biggest stage, although whoever wins the blind auction is unlikely to sell him on the cheap.
