Spanish daily newspaper Marca is reporting that Napoli and Marseille lead the chase for Granada goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.
The 31-year-old managed to get his career back on track since joining los Rojiblancos following two disappointing seasons at Malaga and he didn’t miss a single minute of league action this season.
Even though Ochoa couldn’t prevent Granada from finishing rock bottom, his solid performances did not go unnoticed.
Considering that the Mexican’s contract is due to expire in the summer, it is now clear that he will be leaving Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes on a free transfer.
Napoli and Marseille have lately been showing interest in his services, with both clubs expected to draft formal offers in the coming weeks.
While the Azzurri are in the market for Pepe Reina’s successor, l’OM are also looking to recruit a new shot-stopper despite the fact that Yohann Pele has performed admirably this season.
