Italian giants Napoli and AS Roma are locked in the battle for Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, according to Rai Sport.
The Slovenia international has just over a year left on his deal at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and it is believed he is looking for a new challenge.
Handanovic reportedly prefers staying in Italy, and Napoli and AS Roma are ready to offer him an escape route from Milan.
The Azzurri aim to sign a new shot-stopper to challenge Rafael Cabral for a starting berth, whilst their league rivals are on the lookout for a long-term successor to Morgan De Sanctis.
Even with Inter struggling for form, Handanovic has proved his worth since joining the Nerazzurri, making 94 Serie A appearances after arriving from Udinese.
Roberto Mancini’s side play Celtic away in the first leg of the Europa League last 32 stage clash and they can be backed at 6/4 to win at Parkhead.
