(GSM) – Napoli and Sampdoria are being linked with a loan swoop for Chievo defender Andrea Mantovani, according to his agent.
Agent Graziano Battistini has claimed several Italian clubs are in the race for Mantovani and revealed that the Mussi Volanti are ready to listen to offers for the centre-back.
“I can confirm that Sampdoria and Napoli are interested in Andrea,” Battistini told TMW.
“However, until those clubs get rid of players in Mantovani’s position then it will be difficult for a move to be finalised.
“Nevertheless, I do believe that Chievo are ready to listen to any offers which may be made for him.”
The 26-year-old joined Chievo in 2005 after leaving hometown club Torino.
