French daily newspaper L’Equipe has learned that Serie A giants Napoli have emerged as favourites to land Bordeaux starlet Adam Ounas.
The Azzurri have been quite busy of late, selling Gonzalo Higuain and recruiting Arkadiusz Milik, Emanuele Giaccherini and Lorenzo Tonelli, but few more quality footballers are expected to arrive at Stadio San Paolo as well.
Bordeaux midfielder Adam Ounas could be the first of those, as they are close to agreeing a five-year deal with the 19-year-old footballer.
At the same time, Napoli will offer €15 million up front plus another €5 million in bonuses, which is likely to be a very interesting proposal for Bordeaux.
Adam Ounas largely impressed in his maiden Ligue 1 campaign, scoring 5 goals in 23 league appearances for les Girondins.
The attacking midfielder, who can also operate on either wing, was also linked with a move to Manchester United back in April.
