Napoli seem to never stop working. They are trying with all they have got to get James Rodriguez from Real Madrid, they are looking at Nicolas Pepe from LOSC Lille, but whilst those two deals are far from done, one could be finalized by the end of the week.
It is Fenerbahce’s Eljif Elmas who could be joining the Partenopei. Napoli are nearing a deal to sign the 19-year-old midfilder. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, it will be a deal worth around €16m, plus potential add-ons. Di Marzio claims final details must still be worked out with Elmas’ agent, but the agreement between the clubs looks to have been sealed after Napoli representatives headed to Turkey.
Elmas will turn 20 this September and this talented midfielder caught the eye of the public not only with his performances with Fenerbahce, but also with North Macedonia. He already has 11 caps and two goals scored for the national team.
