Serie A leaders Napoli have moved to confirm that highly rated striker Roberto Inglese will be moving back to Stadio San Paolo in January.
The 26-year-old was bought from Chievo last summer, but he immediately returned to Verona on a season-long loan.
However, Napoli chairman has confirmed that the two clubs agreed to cut the loan deal short, meaning that Inglese will be moving to Naples in January, with Arkadiusz Milik joining Chievo on loan.
“Inglese will arrive, full stop,” De Laurentiis told reporters ahead of the weekend’s match against Sampdoria.
The controversial president then also spoke about potential signings Amin Younes and Zinedine Machach.
“As for the names I’ve read in the newspapers in recent days (Machach and Younes])nothing is certain yet, and even if they arrived they’d be considered investments with potential.
“They could go out on loan.”
Zinedine Machach should join on a free transfer after his contract at Toulouse was terminated, whereas Amin Younes is expected to arrive in a cut-price deal from Ajax seeing that his contract expires in June.
