El Mundo Deportivo has suggested that Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Catalans seem to plan to reinforce their back line in the upcoming transfer window and the Senegalese footballer has emerged as one of their top targets.
Barcelona scouts watched Koulibaly in action in weekend’s triumph over AS Roma, where the Azzurri kept yet another clean sheet.
The 26-year-old has spent every minute on the pitch as Napoli won first eight Serie A games of the new campaign, even contributing two goals.
He has performed admirably ever since joining from Genk, and has been on the radar of top clubs for well over a year now.
Napoli even rejected a €55 million bid for his services from Chelsea, meaning it would take a mega money bid if they are to let Koulibaly leave.
