Napoli are interested in signing Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal in the January transfer window, according to TMW. The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Serie A club Napoli are ready to make a loan bid for Kiwior and will hope to convince Premier League side Arsenal with an option to buy deal.
Kiwior has been on the books of Arsenal since January 2023 when he joined from Italian club Spezia. The Poland international defender, who can operate as a centre-back or as a left-back, has struggled for regular playing time under Gunners manager Mikel Arteta. He has played 96 minutes in the Premier League, 45 minutes in the UEFA Champions League, and has given two assists in two League Cup games for the Gunners so far this season.
Arsenal are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 19 points from 11 matches, nine points behind leaders Liverpool. As for Napoli, they currently find themselves at the top of the Serie A table with 26 points from 12 matches, a point clear of the chasing pace.
