Serie A giants Napoli are keeping close tabs on Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Azzurri are currently in talks with first choice goalkeeper Pepe Reina over a new deal as his current contract expires in June 2018.
But, even if they manage to find an agreement, Napoli will try and sign a future number one who should take over from the Spaniard.
Il Corriere dello Sport understands that the Azzurri have been hot on the trail of PSG shot-stopper Alphonse Areola.
The 24-year-old had impressed during loan spells with Bastia and Villarreal, before returning to Parc des Princes last summer.
Areola managed 15 league performances last term, while featuring in another 6 Champions League games.
