Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Ajax winger Anwar El Ghazi has emerged as a top target for Serie A outfit Napoli.
The Azzurri are looking at a number of footballers as they hope to seriously reinforce the squad this summer, but they were recently told that their top target Davy Klaassen has no intention of moving to Stadio San Paolo.
However, it appears they could still do some shopping at Amsterdam ArenA, as Napoli have now turned their attention to his teammate Anwar El Ghazi.
The winger has made quite an impact since coming through the club’s famous youth academy, bagging no fewer than 20 goals in his first two Eredivisie campaigns.
El Ghazi was rewarded for fine form with two starts for Netherlands in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, but he couldn’t help Oranje qualify for the tournament finals.
Ajax now face a real battle to keep hold of their prized asset, with Napoli just one of the sides interested in his signature.
