Napoli are exploring the possibility of signing Dutch defender Bruno Martins Indi from Feyenoord, Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed.
Having stayed without Hugo Campagnaro and Rolando in the summer, the Azzurri were hoping to sign defensive reinforcements and they have produced quite a coup by luring Raul Albiol to Stadio San Paolo.
However, new manager Rafael Benitez has asked the club officials to add another central defender to their ranks, with Il Corriere dello Sport learning that Napoli are eyeing a move for Bruno Martins Indi.
Seeing as how he can operate at both centre-back and left-back, the 21-year-old is seen as a perfect addition to the squad, especially considering he already has plenty of international experience.
While scoring 3 goals in 76 Eredivisie appearances for Feyenoord, Martins Indi has also nailed down a regular starting berth in the national team, starting all six 2014 World Cup qualifiers for Netherlands and scoring 2 goals.
