Serie A giants Napoli are weighing up January move for Feyenoord full-back Rick Karsdorp, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Azzurri appear to be readying for life after Christian Maggio and they want the Dutch defender to challenge Elseid Hysaj for a starting berth at right-back.
Despite his fragile age, the 21-year-old already has 55 Dutch Eredivisie appearances to his name and he is the product of club’s famous youth academy.
Karsdorp has spent every minute on the pitch in the current league campaign as Feyenoord recorded six straight wins to climb to the top of the standings.
The highly rated full-back was in the Netherlands squad for March friendlies vs France and England, but he has yet to be handed his senior debut.
Napoli will be hoping to challenge Juventus for the Serie A title this term and they are priced at 11/2 chance to go all the way.
