A heavily reduced crowd will be able to watch the coming four home matches of Italian side AS Napoli, after misbehaviour by some of the club’s fans last week around the match with SSC Roma.
A group of Napoli fans attacked a train at the city’s main station, and continued their violence upon arrival in Rome where fireworks were lit and no less than twenty buses were damaged.
The fanatic fans will thus have to find other ways to follow their team’s performance for the coming home games, as their section of Napoli’s San Paolo stadium remains closed until October 31st.
The ban concerns the home matches with Fiorentina, Palermo, Juventus and Reggina.
The club currently discusses what to do with the already sold tickets for next week’s Fiorentina clash.
