(GSM) – A furious second-half comeback by Napoli led to a 3-1 victory over Juventus on Thursday in Serie A action.
Giorgio Chiellini stunned Napoli in the seventh minute when he put the visitors in front, but matters began to get worse for Juventus two minutes later when Christian Poulsen went off injured.
Napoli fought back to equalize in the 51st minute through Slovakia international striker Marek Hamsik, and Fabio Quagliarella made it 2-1 to the home side on 72 minutes.
Ezequiel Lavezzi bagged an insurance goal for Napoli two minutes from time to move them within three points of Juve for the final European place.
With eight matches to play, Juve are three points adrift of Palermo for the last Champions League berth.
