Napoli go after Lozano

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli have turned their attention back in the direction of PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano after failing to secure the signing of Nicolas Pepe, who wound up going to Premier League side Arsenal. Napoli are currently confident in their ability to secure a deal for Lozano, and with there not being all too long remaining in the summer transfer window, you would certainly hope that is the case if they’re serious about making the signing official.

The Mexican star has spent the last few years establishing himself as one of the best footballers to come out of Mexico during his current generation, making the transition over into the European game with flawless ease. Now, though, the question is whether or not he can maintain that upon taking a step up in competition by joining Napoli.

Will it happen? Only time will tell.
