Napoli have very ambitious plans for the upcoming season as they hope to seriously reinforce the squad over the summer, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
With the team having shown a great deal of potential this term, everybody at the club believes the time has come for the Azzurri to mount a serious title challenge in Italian Serie A.
Taking also into account the club’s Champions League ambitions, Napoli want to have at least two quality footballers for each position.
As a result, they are looking to step up their interest in Wojciech Szczesny, Fabinho, Alex Grimaldo, Corentin Tolisso, Inaki Williams and Denis Suarez.
Several players will leave Stadio San Paolo to make way for new signings, while the club chiefs are desperate to tie Dries Mertens to a new contract.
Napoli hope to secure automatic Champions League berth by pipping AS Roma to a second-place finish and they are priced at 8/15 to defeat Torino next time out.
