Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola has suggested that Serie A leaders Napoli are hot on the trail of Sporting CP hotshot Rui Patricio.
The Azzurri are in the market for a long-term successor to Pepe Reina and the Portugal international is one of the first names on their hit-list.
Ajax starlet Andre Onana and Bayer Leverkusen shot-stopper Bernd Leno are also in the mix, but it would appear as though Patricio is the first choice.
The 29-year-old has so far resisted temptation to leave the Lions for greener pastures, but he is likely to be flattered by the interest from Stadio San Paolo.
Patricio has been an important player for club and country for several years now, making over 300 league appearances for Sporting CP and earning 68 Portugal caps.
Napoli slipped to second in the standings as Inter defeated Sampdoria yesterday evening, but they remain 9/10 favourites for the Serie A trophy.
