Napoli are interested in signing Mauro Icardi from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. It has been reported that Serie A club Napoli see Icardi as a potential option to replace Victor Osimhen at the end of the season.
Osimhen is one of the best young strikers in Serie A and could leave Napoli at the end of the season. The Nigeria international has made 13 starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A so far this season, scoring six goals in the process. Osimhen has also scored four goals in four Europa League appearances for the Naples outfit so far this campaign.
Icardi has made 10 starts and 10 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for PSG so far this season, scoring four goals in the process. The 29-year-old Argentina international striker has also made three substitute appearances in the Champions League so far this campaign.
