Il Corriere dello Sport has learned that Napoli are keen on Torino highly rated winger Alessio Cerci.
The former Roma footballer has managed to kick start his career in Turin and has seen a number of Italy’s top clubs inquire about his services.
Milan are believed to be seriously considering a summer bid for the Italy international, but they could face a stiff competition from Napoli.
The Azzurri have big ambitions for the following season after securing Champions League berth and they are following a number of high-profile players.
They are also in talks with Inter over Fredy Guarin and are showing interest in Chelsea star Ramires and Corinthians’ Paulinho.
In spite of the uncertainty surrounding long-serving boss Walter Mazzarri, club officials are wasting no time and they are already stepping up their interest in a number of players.
Much will depend though on the future of Walter Mazzarri and Edinson Cavani, who are both linked with summer exit.
