Serie A hotshots Napoli are said to be eyeing Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian this summer.
The Italian international is entering the final year of his Manchester United deal and has been linked with a departure for quite some time with Juventus believed to be interested, among other clubs.
The Red Devils were understood to be keen to include Darmian in any potential deal that would involve Jose Mourinho’s long-term target Alex Sandro but the latest reports have it that United have been priced out of any deal for the Brazilian.
British press report the current situation presented a new option for Matteo Darmian who is being considered as one of the options for Napoli, together with Santiago Arias from PSV.
It is believed that Darmian would cost around €10 million.
Darmian has seen his playing time get severely limited under Jose Mourinho with the Italian right-back only managing 17 competitive outing across all competitions last season for United.
