Serie A giants Napoli are the latest high-profile club to be showing interest in Monaco midfielder Fabinho, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Brazilian footballer has seen his stock rise after being converted to central midfielder and he has been one of club’s star performers this season.
Barcelona and Juventus are some of the clubs closely monitoring the player’s performances, but it would appear as though Napoli are in the mix as well.
The Azzurri sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli watched the midfielder in the Champions League defeat to Juventus and used the opportunity to discuss a possible summer transfer with the Monaco chiefs.
The Principality club are widely expected to cash in on several high-profile footballers in the summer, with Tiemoue Bakayoko, Djibril Sidibe and Fabinho some of those tipped to leave for greener pastures.
While he was below par in said game against the Bianconeri, the Brazilian has been in fine form this season, bagging 8 goals in 33 Ligue 1 outings.
