Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Napoli are readying a summer bid for QPR star Adel Taarabt.
AC Milan were hoping to turn his loan deal into permanent move after the Moroccan impressed at San Siro, but they were eventually unable to match the €7 million asking price.
And despite showing their interest in the player, Napoli did not want to make a move until the negotiations with the Rossoneri were in progress, but they are now ready to act.
Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Rafael Benitez has been impressed by the talented footballer and he hopes to lure him to Stadio San Paolo this summer.
Even with QPR securing their return to the Premier League, it is believed Adel Taarabt hopes to remain in Italian Serie A.
The 25-year-old joined AC Milan in January and went on to make 14 league outings, scoring 4 goals in the process.
