Napoli are considering a Bosman move for Marseille forward Andre Ayew, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The Ghana international will be out of contract in the summer and while it is clear he won’t be signing a new deal at Stade Velodrome, OM are unlikely to sell him in January given that they are currently fighting for the Ligue 1 title.
As a result, the highly rated forward will be available on a free transfer in the summer and Napoli are one of the clubs hoping to win the race for his services.
Rafael Benitez is looking to add another quality attacker to the squad and he believes Ayew would be a great addition at Stadio San Paolo.
The Azzurri, priced at 2/5 to defeat Verona tomorrow evening, could face stiff competition from other interested sides for the player who has bagged a total of 36 goals in 142 Ligue 1 outings for Marseille.
