Serie A giants Napoli are being linked with midfielders Christoph Kramer and Hector Herrera, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri remain in the hunt for a new central midfielder having been unsuccessful in attempts to sign Javier Mascherano and Maxime Gonalons.
Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested that Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Christophe Kramer is also on their hit-list.
The 23-year-old is set to start the second season of a two-year loan at Borussia M’gladbach, where he impressed last term and in turn earned a place in Germany’s World Cup squad.
At the same time the Azzurri are showing interest in FC Porto star Hector Herrera, who was in stunning form for Mexico at the tournament finals in Brazil, starting all four matches for El Tri as they reached the Last 16 stage.
The 24-year-old only joined the Dragons last summer from Pachuca, but he could soon be leaving Estadio do Dragao for greener pastures.
