Napoli are keeping close tabs on Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Il Mattino has claimed.
The Azzurri have enjoyed a very good start to the new season and currently occupy fourth place in the league standings.
The latest reports suggest that Napoli have no plans for major reinforcements this winter, but are rather planning for next season.
The Azzurri appear to have been priced out of a move for Palermo playmaker Franco Vazquez, and have since turned their attention towards Udinese’s Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu.
The central midfielder will be out of contract in the summer and the Stadio San Paolo outfit hope to sign him on a free transfer.
Agyemang-Badu joined Udinese in January 2010 and has since made a total of 114 Serie A appearances for the Zebrette.
At the same time, Napoli are showing interest in Sampdoria’s Vasco Regini, who will also be out of contract at the end of the current campaign.
