Napoli are keeping close tabs on Premier League stars Edin Dzeko and Sandro, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
While Walter Mazzarri’s future at San Paolo remains in the balance, club officials are not wasting their time and are already preparing the squad for the next season.
Signing a replacement for Edinson Cavani appears to be the priority, given that the Uruguayan could easily leave the club in the summer.
Even if the Azzurri are thinking about Pablo Osvaldo, Alessandro Matri and Leandro Damiao, it is Edin Dzeko that remains their number one target.
The Bosnian looks set to leave Eastlands at the end of the current campaign, although Manchester City will not sell on the cheap.
Meanwhile, Napoli are pondering a move for long-term target Sandro, who would add much needed steel to the centre of the park.
The Brazilian has missed the second part of the season due to a knee injury, but it would still take a lot of persuasion to lure him to San Paolo.
