Napoli keen on Florian Thauvin

Serie A giants Napoli have been showing interest in Marseille hotshot Florian Thauvin, Tuttosport has suggested.

With Jose Callejon’s future in doubt, the Azzurri are in the market for attacking reinforcements and the French winger has now emerged as their top target.

According to Tuttosport, Napoli recently contacted Marseille sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta to enquire about the possibility of purchasing Thauvin this summer.

The Azzurri were informed it would take at least €50 million to recruit the 25-year-old footballer, who has been in the form of his life.

Thauvin scored 20 goals and set up another 10 in 33 Ligue 1 outings, helping Marseille mount a serious top 4 bid, with l’OM priced at 5/6 to defeat Guingamp in the penultimate fixture of the campaign.
