Sport Mediaset is reporting that Napoli are hot on the trail of Ajax full-back Joel Veltman.
The Azzurri are in the market for a new right-back considering that long-serving footballer Christian Maggio is almost certain to leave when his contract expires in June 2018.
According to latest reports, Napoli want Ajax hotshot Joel Veltman to challenge Elseid Hysaj for a starting berth on the right hand side.
The 25-year-old has been a first team regular at Amsterdam ArenA for several years now, amassing 130 Eredivisie appearances for the club.
Veltman also broke into the national team set-up and has so far earned 17 Netherlands caps, scoring 2 goals.
The highly rated footballer has been heavily linked with a move to White Hart Lane, but it appears that Napoli have joined the chase as well.
