Italian giants Napoli are hot on the trail of Sporting Lisbon full-back Jonathan Silva, according to A Bola.
The Azzurri are looking to recruit a new left-sided defender given that Faouzi Ghoulam will miss at least a month of action as he will be playing for Algeria at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
A Bola has learned that Sporting Lisbon youngster Jonathan Silva is one of the players they are looking at.
The interesting thing is that the 20-year-old has yet to establish himself as a first team regular at Estadio Jose Alvalade, having only joined from Estudiantes this summer.
Nevertheless, he has shown a great deal of promise in five Primeira Liga starts, while also scoring the only goal for the Lions in midweek defeat to Chelsea.
Sporting are not too keen on selling their prized asset, but a difficult financial situation means they will take all serious offers into consideration.
