Napoli keen on Nicolas N’Koulou

Napoli are weighing up summer bid for Marseille defender Nicolas N’Koulou, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.

After Hugo Campagnaro left Stadio San Paolo to join Inter, the Azzurri have been searching for a new centre-back and they have been heavily linked with a move for Adil Rami.

However, having failed to lure the France international to Naples, the Italian giants seem to have turned their attention towards Marseille centre-back Nicolas N’Koulou.

The Azzurri officials hold the Cameroon international in high regard and they believe he would be an excellent addition to the squad at San Paolo.

Nicolas N’Koulou joined Marseille from Monaco two years back and quickly developed into a key player at Stade Velodrome, making 68 Ligue 1 appearances and scoring one goal.

The 23-year-old has been the subject of a heavy interest from top European clubs over the last few months and he has hinted that he could leave OM in the summer.
