Serie A leaders Napoli are considering a summer bid for Paris Saint-Germain full-back Thomas Meunier, according to Il Mattino.
With Christian Maggio nearing the end of his playing days, the Azzurri want to sign a new right-back to compete with Elseid Hysaj.
Il Mattino claims that Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier has emerged as their top target ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old largely impressed while representing Belgium in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, producing 5 goals and 7 assists, but he has been playing second fiddle to Dani Alves at Parc des Princes.
As a result, Meunier could jump at the opportunity to join Napoli, where he would have a better chance of nailing a regular starting berth.
Following the unexpected home loss to AS Roma, the Azzurri are now 13/8 chance to lift the Serie A trophy.
