Napoli are readying bid for Sporting Lisbon striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
With Ezequiel Lavezzi set to complete his move to Paris Saint-Germain, the Azzurri are looking to sign a new attacker in the summer transfer window.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims the San Paolo outfit have set their sights on Sporting Lisbon star Ricky van Wolfswinkel.
The Dutch forward joined the Lions from Utrecht last summer and has enjoyed a great first season at Stadio Joao Alvalade.
The 23-year-old scored 14 goals in 25 league games, while bagging another 6 in 13 Europa League matches.
He has since attracted attention from top European clubs and Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Napoli are ready to offer around €11 million for the player’s services.
The Dutch international has four years left on his deal with Sporting and his release clause stands at €22 million.
