Napoli keen on Verdi, Chiesa

Serie A leaders Napoli are weighing up summer bids for Italy starlets Simone Verdi and Federico Chiesa, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.

The Azzurri aim to continue the recent uptrend in fortunes, and they can be backed at 1/1 to lift the league title at the end of the season.

At the same time, head coach Maurizio Sarri will start talks over a new contract at Stadio San Paolo as chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis is eager for the highly rated tactician to stay.
