Serie A giants Napoli are keeping close tabs on full-backs Silvan Widmer and Jacopo Sala, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Azzurri expect to see Camilo Zuniga, Jonathan De Guzman and Mariano Andujar leave the club, while they are currently in the market for right-sided defender.
And rather than splashing the cash on a high-profile footballer, Napoli have turned their attention to talented players already plying their trade in Italian Serie A.
Hellas Verona hotshot Jacopo Sala appears to be their number one target and coach Maurizio Sarri likes the fact that the 23-year-old can also operate in midfield.
Meanwhile, Udinese full-back Silvan Widmer is another footballer the Azzurri are looking at, although he may prove the more expensive of the two.
Napoli will face Sassuolo on the road in their opening fixture of the new Serie A campaign, and they are available at 4/5 to start the tournament with a win.
