Daily Mirror understands that Napoli are considering January moves for Glen Johnson and James Milner.
Both players will be out of contract in the summer, and with talks over new deals not progressing as planned, the Serie A side have taken notice.
According to Daily Mirror, Napoli manager Rafael Benitez will attempt to sign the England internationals on cut-price deals in January.
Liverpool’s Glen Johnson is no longer considered a first team regular at Anfield and having made just three appearances this season, he is likely to be tempted by a new challenge.
Meanwhile, James Milner seems to have become fed up with waiting for his chance at the Etihad, and even though Manuel Pellegrini is desperate to keep hold of him, the midfielder could also be leaving in the winter.
Napoli have enjoyed a slow start to the season, but after winning their last two fixtures, they can be backed at 7/4 to defeat Inter Milan away.
