Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Napoli are considering January moves for Javier Mascherano and Jucilei.
The Azzurri have been pretty busy in the summer transfer window, but they are planning to do some more shopping in the winter.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Rafael Benitez is hoping to get reunited with Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano.
And while this could remain just a dream for the Azzurri, they are expected to capture midfielder Jucilei from Anzhi Makhachkala, with the Brazilian’s contract due to expire in December 2014.
Meanwhile, Napoli will attempt to sign long-term target Martin Skrtel on a six-month loan, while they could also make a move on Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya.
The Stadio San Paolo outfit seem determined to end Juventus’ domestic domination in the near future and they can certainly be encouraged by the impressive start to the league campaign.
Whatever happens, Napoli will be adding at least a couple of more players to their ranks in the January transfer window.
