Serie A leaders Napoli are considering submitting an offer for Croatian defender Hrvoje Milic, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
With quite a few defenders struggling through injury, head coach Maurizio Sarri has decided to reinforce the back line at the earliest opportunity.
But, given that the January transfer window is now closed, the Azzurri can only sign free agents at the moment.
Shortly after it was revealed that Gabriel Paletta and Guilherme Siqueira were on their radar, Napoli are being linked with move for Croatian full-back Hrvoje Milic.
The 28-year-old made 17 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina last season before joining Olympiakos last summer.
However, the Croatian footballer failed to impress in Greece and had his contract terminated some week ago, meaning he is free to negotiate a Bosman deal with Napoli.
