Radio Crc claims that Napoli and Liverpool are locked in the battle for Udinese playmaker Piotr Zielinski.
The Polish midfielder has been in excellent form during a two-year loan with Empoli, and he has been especially impressive during the 2015/2016 campaign.
Top European clubs have taken notice of his performances and it appears that Udinese face a battle on their hands to keep hold of the 22-year-old footballer.
Namely, his agent Bartlomiej Bolek has told Radio Crc that Napoli and Liverpool are both keen on his client, but it remains to be seen whether the two clubs will come forward with formal proposals.
Zielinski has another two years left on his contract at Friuli, but Udinese’s famous transfer policy clearly states that any player is for sale in case of a good offer.
The attacking midfielder has been named in Poland’s provisional Euro 2016 squad and he is currently focused on making the final list.
