Napoli are looking at several high-profile footballers as they hope to sign a replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
Inter Milan hotshot Mauro Icardi remains their number one target, but with the talks for the Argentine attacker having stalled, the Azzurri are forced to explore other targets.
AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca and Fiorentina forward Nikola Kalinic are some of the players on the hit-list, while Maurizio Sarri is also considering signing Stevan Jovetic and using him as a false nine.
Having already recruited Arkadiusz Milik, Napoli will not be in such a big problem should they fail to get their hands on one of their targets, due to the fact that they can always count on Manolo Gabbiadini.
The Italy international, who was mostly used as back-up to Gonzalo Higuain, boasts one of the best minutes per goal ratios in European football and he may finally be given a chance to shine.
