Portuguese media outlet Record understands that Serie A giants Napoli are weighing up summer bid for Benfica striker Kostas Mitroglou.
The Azzurri have come to terms with losing star forward Gonzalo Higuain and they are now in the market for his replacement.
Reports from Italy have suggested that Carlos Bacca is high on their hit-list, while Record claims that so is Kostas Mitroglou.
The Greek striker enjoyed a remarkable debut season at Benfica, bagging 19 league goals and his contract was eventually purchased for €7 million.
The Eagles could now get a chance to turn a substantial profit on the 28-year-old footballer, seeing as how Napoli desperately need a proven goalscorer after all but agreeing to sell Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus.
And while Benfica chiefs will not be too keen on selling their prized asset, a big money bid from Stadio San Paolo could easily change their minds.
